ELLIE, "THE POET IN ME"

My Dear Friend

			My eyes are filled with tears;
			every time I think of you.
			Your gentle ways, your soft 
			speaking voice; constantly 
			echoes into my ears.

			I have a hard time forgetting you.
			How is it, that God gives so many
			gifts to some and none to others?

			My admiration for the things you 
			do can not be translated into love.
			There is no passion in my heart 
			for you.

			But your absence is creating a void
			in my life.
			A feeling of desparation comes over
			me every time you say good-by.
			I fear, I will not see you again.

			You fill my needs so completely.
			I can not help it; to feel this way.
			Please, come back to me Dear Friend.
			I will be waiting for you; with open
			arms and open heart.
