	When you decide to use 'linking to market your niche product', you 	must find a way that is good for your business and does not waste 	your time and effords, doing so.
	The best way to do that is to convince other sites to link to 	your 	site, but not just any site. Their products/services must 	
      be the same category, as yours using similar keywords/keyphrases, 
      marketing what you are marketing but not competing with you.
	For Example: You sell High Fashion Men's Shoes; the related sites      
      would be Slippers and Walking men's shoes, Sporting-Snow boots,
	Sneakers,Climbing shoes, etc.

	Shoes,Leather goods.

	These products even though they are shoes, they are not fashion 	shoes and do not compete with your kind of shoes.
	A person visiting their site to buy their needed product, when 	they 	see your link, they might remember the need to buy fashion 	shoes, thus creating an interest for your site. 
	That is the whole idea of advertising, to prompt a person to buy 	something she/he needs but has forgotten about it and seeing your 	add at the sporting shoes site, she/he was reminded of his/her 	needs.
	To find your niche sites other urls do a search on 'your prods' 
	at Yahoo, Google or any other search engine you are comfortable 	working with. Make a list of all your choice sites and email to 
	a few owners a proposal to exchange links, stating with the 	benefits you will both derive from doing that, since you are not 
	a threat to grab their sales.
	Every proposal should be different, otherwise it might be 	considered 'spam', once the word is out that you are mass emailing
     (not a good idea). Give them your reciprocal address for them 	
      to visit.
	Your page should have the proper headings in place, so they, the 	visitors can visualize where their link will be places and how it 	will look like on the page.
	Sure it is a lot of work, but think, they are your customers and 	they have to be satisfied before they will allow their name to 	appear on your page.
	Your page should have a link back to your main web site, as I 	have it appear below(name,address,email). The site's owners must 	
      be convinced that you exist and this is only a promotional page 	
      and that your product is sold on your main site.
